This painting was a part of my first International Group Show. The show was the 82th annual "Salon Des Artistes Indépendants Normands" which was held in Rouen, France. The piece was created in response to both the refugee crisis on the U.S./Mexican border and also Julia's own immigration and heartbreak in France.
