Theme: Cats

Over the years one of my main subjects that I have painted has been cats. Why? Well, beyond being a cat-lady myself, I find that painting animals can be extremely relaxing. Cats bring a sense of whimsy, playfulness, and even darkness out of the magic of the brush. They add joy and character and wonder...so why not paint them?
